Northern Railway Quota Recruitment 2025 : There are four types of railway quotas in India, in which Northern Railway, Western Railway, Eastern Railway and Southern Railway have been divided into four parts. The main positions of all these have also been kept. In which the Railway Recruitment Cell of Northern Railway announces recruitment against excellent and guide candidates for 2025-26. The purpose of this recruitment campaign is to fill the vacancies for Matrix Level-1 and Level-2. The government invites qualified Indian citizens who have the passion to serve the nation and have a strong background in count and guide activities to apply online. Currently, only 23 posts are available for which online applications will be accepted. The application date will start from 22 5 2025 and will end on 22 6 2025. Eligible candidates will be able to apply within a period of one month. Northern Railway is offering recruitment opportunities for Scouts and Guides through quota. These posts are released for Group A to Level II and 18 and five posts for Level-I.

Indian Railways has allotted five posts for Group A for Level II and 18 posts for Level-I Group D. For Level II, the candidate should have 12 passes with 50% marks and ITI Matriculation and along with that 10 passes for Level-I for ITI Technical Posts and 10 passes for Loan Technical Posts. South and Kite Candidates who have been involved in this activity for the last five years and who have attended the National and the event of that level twice will be given first preference. The age limit of the candidate has been fixed from 18 years to 35 years for Level II and the age limit has been fixed from 18 years to 38 years for Level-I. Here, a specific age limit has also been fixed for the disabled candidates along with a serviceman service period plus three years has also been allotted. In the application fee, a fee of Rs 500 has been fixed for the candidates coming in the general and OBC categories, which is non-refundable and a fee of ₹250 has been fixed for the SC, ST and women, disabled minorities, which is refundable. The selection process is kept in three stages and finally the final selection will be made based on merit.

Selection Process

Verification of Online Applications: First the applications received online will be verified and then the applicants will be selected from them.
Written Examination: The applicant will be called to the center at the appointed time for the written examination in which the duration of the examination has been kept for 60 minutes i.e. one hour. In which 40 mark questions and one 20 mark essay have been kept. There will be a total of 60 mark question paper and in which Hindi and English language will be used. This examination will be conducted only in Delhi city.
Marks of Certificates: That is, to evaluate the candidates, they will be given marks on the basis of the certificates uploaded by them. In which maximum 10 marks are given for participation in national program, then seven marks in the first two certificates, 10 marks for participation in two or more programs and 10 marks for participation in state or rallies, 10 marks for participation in other rallies, 10 marks for participation in seven or more programs of country service and related programs in other rallies, ten marks for participation in seven or more programs of national state All Indian Railways level and maximum 10 marks for special count and guide courses organized at national, state and all Indian Railways level.
Document Verification: Candidates selected in the examination will have to pass the document verification which will be held only in Delhi. Here, candidates will have to bring a set of all the mood documents uploaded with the online application on this day, self-attested photocopies, educational proof, caste certificate, etc. Certificates in languages other than English and Hindi will have to be attached with self-attested translations.
Panel Formation: In which candidates who have succeeded in the written examination, a panel will be formed based on the merit position and marks on the certificate.
Medical Examination: In which the candidates recommended for appointment will be subjected to the medical fitness test prescribed by the Northern Railway Administration for the post identified. Here, different types of reports will be made and they will be passed on the basis of the same fitness report.

Select specific personal options then provide educational qualifications, guidance achievements and other necessary information.

Then apply for caste certificate in the prescribed format, income certificate for economically backward classes and if applicable, minority or PWD certificate in the prescribed format.
Then a photograph with full face and a photo of the guide in uniform, besides the mother, beret cap is mandatory for male candidates.
Then signature and thumb impression of the left hand should be taken.
Upload a self-attested copy of the certificate of Chief Scout Guide Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder.
If you are currently working in government service, then also get NOC from the employer.
Then pay the application fee and pay online after taking the exam.
