Age Limit

The last date of application the candidate should not be less than 18 years, after that candidates up to 35 years can apply.

Pay Scale

As per the resolution of the Finance Department, the appointment will be made at a fixed salary of ₹40,800 per month for the first five years and will be eligible for other resolution benefits. The candidates appointed subject to the terms and conditions mentioned here will be eligible for regular appointment in the pay scale ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 as per the relevant Seventh Pay Commission demand at the end of five years.

Educational Qualification Details

Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science and Zoology and Microbiology course from any university established and incorporated under the Central and State Acts in India will be selected.
It is necessary to have basic knowledge of computer applications as per the Gujarat Civil service Classification and Recruitment Rules, 1967.
Candidates are required to have adequate knowledge of both Gujarati and Hindi languages and if the candidate can write, read and speak both languages, he/she will be appointed.

Selection Process

Part-A

Mock Tests or Data Interpretation 30 marks
Mathematical Test 30 marks
Total 60 marks

Part B

1. Constitution of India Current Affairs Gujarati and English Comprehension 30 marks
2. Questions related to related topics and their usefulness 120 marks
Total marks 150
Total marks 210 questions will be asked in the total question paper of Part A and Part B
Both parts will be given three hours (180 minutes) of school time together
1/4 marks will be deducted as negative marking for wrong questions.

Pay Scale Details

The fixed salary of Fisheries Officer for the first year has been fixed at ₹40,800, after which the salary will be fixed from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 in Level-6 as per the 7th Pay Commission.

Here, they will have to click on the Apply Now button, after which the application form will open in which the candidate should first read all the information.

Then, after filling the personal details, the education details will have to be filled. Then you have to select the Yes button to accept the conditions mentioned in the guarantee, after which your application form will be saved.
By clicking on the Save button, an application number will be generated, which the candidate will have to save.
Now you have to go to Upload Photograph and type your application number and date of birth and upload the photo and signature. (Here the size of the photo is five cm height x 6 cm width, the size of the signature is 2.5 cm height x 7.5 cm width) Both have to be uploaded in JPG format in a format below 15 KB.
At the top of the page, in the Online Application tab, click on Confirm Application, so after typing your application number and date of birth, click on OK.
Here you can make corrections before confirming the application form but once confirmed you will not be able to make corrections in the application so click on the confirm application button only after the complete application new form is verified.
Then click on the confirm application button and generate a number. This confirmation number will be required for all future procedures so it will have to be kept safe.
