The Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Forest Guard (Class-3) posts under a Special Recruitment Drive for Divyang (Physically Handicapped) candidates. A total of 157 vacancies will be filled under this initiative by the Forest and Environment Department.
This special recruitment is only for candidates with disabilities (Divyang) and follows reservation norms specific to that category. No separate reservation (SC/ST/OBC/etc.) applies.

Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (12th Pass) from a recognized board or equivalent.
Must have basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification & Recruitment Rules, 1967.
Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi language.

₹26,000 per month (Fixed for first 5 years). Upon successful completion, eligible for regular pay: ₹18,000–₹56,900 (Level-4) under 7th Pay Commission.
