Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana 2025 : The benefit of the Kunvarbai Mameru Scheme is available only to married women. This assistance is provided to girls belonging to the Scheduled Caste category, girls belonging to the OBC category, i.e. girls whose daughters get married in economically weaker families. This scheme has been started with the aim of providing financial assistance for marriage to girls born in poor families.
Regarding the Kunvarbai Mameru Scheme in the Gujarat Assembly, continuous efforts are being made to provide the benefits of the Kunvarbai Mameru Scheme to every needy woman in the state quickly and easily. Earlier, to get the benefits of this scheme, the beneficiaries had to submit 13 types of evidence in school. Now, by amending it, only a few types of evidence will have to be submitted.
Under the Kunvarbai Mameru Scheme in Gujarat, more than 43000 beneficiaries get assistance of up to ₹12,000. The amount of this assistance is more than Rs 49.56 crore. In the year 2023-24, a total assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh was given to more than 11,300 beneficiaries. An estimated Rs 13.51 crore is allocated for this scheme every year. In the previous year, assistance was provided to 650 beneficiaries of Scheduled Castes in Kutch district. Similarly, in other districts, married daughters are given ₹12,000 assistance directly in their bank accounts through DBT. This money is directly deposited in their bank accounts. This type of assistance is given to daughters of weaker sections.*

Eligibility for the scheme
- The beneficiary should be from the state of Gujarat
- The applicant should be from a financially weak family
- The Kuvarbai Nu Mameru scheme is made available for the marriage of two adult daughters in a family of Gujarat.
- This scheme will be beneficial in case of remarriage of the beneficiary and in case of widow remarriage as well.
- The Kunvarbai Nu Mameru form can be applied online within a time limit of two years from the date of marriage of the bride.
- Daughters participating in the Saat Phera group marriage program are eligible to get assistance under the Kunvarbai Na Mameru scheme.
- Beneficiaries participating in community and other group marriages can get benefits under both the Saat Phera group marriage scheme and Kuvarbai Nu Mameru.
Benefits of the scheme
- Assistance of ₹12,000 to girls married from April 1, 2025.
- Assistance of Rs. 10,000 to girls married before April 1, 2021.
- The assistance amount is deposited in the bank account of the bride through a check.
- Only a maximum of two girls from a family can get this benefit.

Online Application Process
- First visit the official website of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the state government.
- Then if you have already registered in the Citizen Login here, you will have to log in by entering your user ID and password. If you are applying for the first time, you will have to register yourself first.
- For new registration, you will have to register by entering your name, gender, date of birth, Aadhaar card number, email ID, caste, mobile number, password, confirm password and captcha as per Aadhaar card.
- Then you will have to log in with the user ID and password that will show your user ID in the message box.
- After logging in, you will have to select the scheme in which you want to apply.
- Then you will have to fill the form accordingly. In Kuvarbainu Mameru Yojana, first personal information, then application details i.e. marriage details, details of the young man with whom you are married, bank details of the bride, and the document number that is mandatory in the document will have to be entered and the document will have to be uploaded.
- After uploading the document, a printout of it will be taken. After that, your application will go to the office of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
- From there, after your application is approved, you will be informed through a text message on your mobile or a message on your email ID.
- After that, the scheme amount will be deposited in your bank account. The scheme amount will be deposited in a regular period.
